The women at the reception was really nice and she tried to help out. Then again there are some things we would have wanted to know before we decided to stay at this place..: - the room we got was big, but actually it’s been a modified exercise room, that i.e. had no curtains. - the WiFi didn’t function in the room - the mosquito-net, shown in the rooms pictures wasn’t there - there was a big lack of comfort. Only the kitchen offers some places to sit. In front of the kitchen there are four chairs, but u can’t use one of them, if you don’t want to get eaten by ants. Also the hammock you see in the pictures is not there. So if you want to relax outdoors, you might be at the wrong place - we didn’t saw one person, that could explain something in English (i.e. tours) We feel the need to share our experience, to give others the opportunity to know what they get and maybe for the hostel to improve. At the same time we are sorry to write this, as the family, that lives there was super cute and respectful.

Yacumaman is a beautiful and restful place to stay. The people who work there are incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was neat and clean.
