I would not send anyone to see Denise Poland-Torres. She misdiagnosed my mother in 2002 and within 12 hours, my mother died. It is something that I battle with everyday. I miss my mother and I myself have become manic depressive due to my loss. She did not provide the proper treatment for my mother nor did she ask for Dr. Coward (whom she worked under) to check my mother's status. She let my mother go home with a BP of 92/45 and a temperature of 96.5. My mother was in shock and was sent home to die. There are plenty of PA's...my suggestion is find someone other than Mrs. Torres.
