I was there last winter as volunteer. Fundacion migres welcomed me and guided me (a layperson in ornithology) with love and knowledge, I am so grateful for that! The fundacion is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean earth, vivid fauna and flora and ocean. Some nights when I looked at the other side of the ocean African continent, or the starry starry night sky, I could hear eternity.

KEEP CALM & CUENTA PÁJAROS! :) Being a collaborator in MIGRES it was one of the best experience in my life! Even, at the beginning I didn't know nothing about the birds, thanks for the people who I worked with, I have learned a lot of things; not only some species of the birds but also how ring the birds, how work in the group and the most important thing: how gain the friends and be a friend :) Being a volunteer or collabolator in MIGRES, it not means only watching the migration of birds and working...It also means having fun with the people, enjoying the wonderful weather and many, many things more... The Foundation MIGRES is located in a wonderful place between two continents: Europe and Africa. Walking around the location of MIGRES, you almost can touch "the Black Land". I always said, that "the only thing which I don't understand in migration of the birds is "why they migrate?"..If I were them, I would stay in Spain :)". I can say that three months it was too short period of the time to be over there...If I could, I would stay for longer. So... I have to say, that if you love so much your Family, you cannot go there! Because if you went to the Foundation, you wouldn't go back to your home...you will fell in love with everything in MIGRES! :D \u003c3
Important and vital work
Una experiencia única, para los amantes de las aves y de la narturaleza en sí, es uno de los enclaves donde podremos observar miles de aves en tan sólo un día. Mi estancia fue de 2 meses en la Fundación y volvería otros dos y dos más. Lo recomiendo ya que volveré al quedar muy satisfecho. Un saludo compañeros!!!
