Great location right in the historic older city. Quick walk from the port. Quiet for such a central location. Amazing hot waterfall style showers. Small but clean kitchen. Small bar and clothing shop at reception. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I've stayed here 2 times. The 1st time was the first I'd ever stayed in a hostel. My idea/impression of a hostel prior to using one was not that great. Luckily I found such a nice place to try for my first time! The place is so clean. A very modem feeling. The beds are very comfortable and CLEAN. They all have a privacy curtains. The staff including the owner speak good English which was helpful for me, they are all great, friendly and welcoming :) The bathrooms/showers at this place are excellent. The showers are those I'd usually find in a very nice hotel! If you are here in Tarifa for some time or just passing by on the way/back to Morocco there are a lot of hostels in Tarifa to choose though I highly recommend you stay here, you won't be let down! In the immediate area outside are countless restaurants, bars, ice cream shop and a nice spot to get breakfast right in front of the hostel. The location is right where you want to be! If coming from the ferry it's less then a 2 minute walk.
Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. They do not provide towels or soap and shampoo. You have to rent towels for 3 euros each. They turn off the A/C at night so it gets super hot and you can hear everything, even someone scratching them self. The shower had rust in the corners and when I checked in the staff and a guy were talking about a problem with bugs, but stopped when I walked up. I came out of there with 4 bug bites(pic of one). At 20 euros a night it was waaaay too much for this place. The staff is rude and they take a break from 2-5pm, so if you are arriving at that time, like I did, you have to wait till 5pm to check in, which ruined my day in Tarifa. I wasn’t able to go to the beach while it was hot. Do NOT stay at this hostel. I do NOT recommend!
Awesome hostel in the middle of a great location in old town Tarifa! Boutique furnishings with very attentive guest service. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Each bed has its own power jack and reading light fixture. Good WiFi speeds and good atmosphere.
Hi there, I've been travelling around Europe for a while and this hostel is one of the best. All the rooms are to share but the beds are super comfy, all of them fitted with curtains. Also the bathrooms are clean and with wide showers. Tarifa it's an awesome town with an ancient history. The Sulok Tarifa Hostel it's located inside the walls of the old medieval city and Is just 5 min walking distance to the beach and so near of the best coffee shops, restaurants, shops and of course the nightlife. If you crash in Tarifa you should try this place. Cheers!
Very nice and clean hostel, I shared the room with super nice people. Nice bathroom with rain showers. Bar and chillout zone where I found lots of friends. In the center of Tarifa but quiet for sleep. Lovely vibes! Thanks to Manolo - owner and the girls. There is the hostel but fashion boutique and activities center as well - cool idea. Will come back!!
The staff made me waste a day of my holiday, because they told me there were no kitesurf courses and no trips to Tangier. There were courses, but not at their school. And there were boats too. Sometimes no toilet paper or toilet not working. Air conditioning was too low and the room damp, towels would not dry.
I woke up at midnight as I felt itchy. Then I found I have about 10 bites on my body and I saw few bed bugs on my sheet and blood!!!! Same thing one my friend’s bed and the other empty bed. I didn’t sleep whole night and feel so itchy and uncomfortable now!
