Heavy wind. Take care of your hat:)) worth to visit. Unfortunately the fortress was closed (Aug 2020). Africa at the back.

A home to a vibrant international community, surprisingly delicious vegan food and creative tapas, stunning views of African coast, whitewashed architecture that creates a picturesque contrast with brilliant blue skies and azure water, remains of Roman settlement, beautiful waters of Atlantic and Mediterranean that make it such a great swim, and not so gentle levante winds that make this spot so perfect for kite and windsurfing, Tarifa is the best kept secret and a must see if you are looking for a nice surfer type of town.
