The Circle Roma is a part of a series of walls, buildings, ruins and tower. Learning how these structures have been utilized over the centuries is interesting. There is ongoing restoration. There is also signage in English. We did not take the audio tour; would probably have learned much more!

Remains of very centrally situated Roman circus (hippodrome) complex. Absolutely positive surprise, do not be fooled by the rather meagre visible ruins, site is extensive with huge mostly underground corridors and several floors up to the spectacular viewing platform on top of the medieval tower. Good labels explaining the rather complex remains. Very good CGI videoshow displaying the original structure and history of the circus and adjacent buildings. Lot of stairs but elevator is available. Combination ticket with other town centre Roman sites available (do not miss the amphitheatre below, although it has less to display than here). Underground parking few streets to north.

Had no idea there was that much Roman history in Tarragona, Spain. The ruins are of the chariot track, tunnels that lead to track and gladiator area ( still in place ). First class and very clean...the whole City. We lucked out on this find. Stayed at AC Marriott hotel also great location to take all in.
