We decided to visit this part of the old town instead of going to the area that the tourism board recommended. And it was worth it. The owners were very friendly and didn't speak much English but through the powers of Google translate, she popped over and held her phone to the menu for us. Nice touch. They gave us a complimentary starter, which was delicious. We ordered three or four tapas dishes and we're all really nice. I was hoping the anchovies would blow my socks off, but they didn't. Maybe next time. I would recommend this place if you want to avoid tourist traps and want an authentic experience.

Lovely bar away from the touristy areas of Tarragona. Not much English spoken but very friendly and patient service. Great food!

Great tapas bar! Fantastic beer and every dish we had was perfect. Highly recommend the jamon y queso, artichoke hearts, and the tomato tuna dish. Sat outside and the service was FAST, felt like North American service.
