A great recreational store that has exceptional quality and a wide variety of hiking shoes and clothing for the great outdoors. The employees are informative and can help you set up your next big outdoor vacation. Unfortunately, this location is closing it's doors at the end of February after many years). So sorry to see it go.

I came here with my wife recently to buy a new pair of hiking boots. Despite the weird parking lot situation, we had a great experience here. The staff was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We'll definitely be coming back here when we need new camping supplies.

I visited Adventure 16 for a trip I was taking to Guatemala. I've been to this store before for other hiking and traveling needs, and the quality of service and attention I received has been consistently excellent. My girlfriend was worried about mosquito bites and so we went there with a purpose. The associate who helped us, Matt was very helpful and provided us with just the right style of attention. If you have a desire to travel, I suggest you check this location out!

Great choices, good service - absolutely loved shipping there. The guy showing us the backpack was happy to sirens almost two hours with us, trying things on, explaining differences, losing backpacks with weights just so we could compare... Definitely will be back

I'm so glad this place is in the Presidio, close access to trails, easy parking, and they do price-matching. The people who work there are always helpful and pretty straight-forward. I love the community events, free yoga on weekends and that they sell cheaper skiing passes for Tahoe!

The customer service was excellent, and the store manager gave us so much good information. I can't wait to go back!

It was my first year at Burning Man, and a majority of the gear I got came from this store. The staff was really friendly and they helped me find everything I needed from my packing list. I had a great time talking with the staff about the Burning Man experience, and they guided me on what I need to be aware of when camping out in the desert. Besides that, they also helped me pick a camping stove that I could use when backpacking in the mountains. It was a total blast coming to this store. The staff was nice and they were very attentive to what I was looking for without being pushy or trying to sell me the most expensive thing they had. My only complaint is that their prices tend to be just a little too high. You can get a lot of this stuff for cheaper online, but if you need it right here and right now, go check this place out.
