I had scheduled an appointment about a week or so out, as it was the only day i would be in town over the course of 2 weeks to have someone come out and give me a quote. I confirmed the date/time (2pm) and my address in a text after the call, he responded. He failed to show up at 2pm, when i texted him at 2:15pm, his response was that he had a sick child and didn't check his schedule for the day. I definitely don't want someone working on a project who doesn't check their schedule on a daily basis and is missing appointments. He would have been better off just telling me he forgot to put it into his calendar, which is probably what happened.
