Good for kids
This place was great when it first opened. It had cleared trails, etc. Taunton has let it get overgrown since then, unfortunately. As for the review about hunting... It is a CONSERVATION area, hence no hunting. Same as any other designated park or conservation area. It also runs behind the homes along N Walker St, so random flying bullets would hit houses and kill people from one direction or hit passing cars on Rte 44 on the other side, as this is not a particularly large conservation area.

A lot has changed at the Westville Conservation Area. The parking lot has been cleaned up and a lot of progress has been made on the paths. You can hike through the fields, the woods, and out to the 3 Mile River.
This is a beautiful piece of property but the trails have not been maintained.
Property has not been maintained, you cannot get down any of the walking trails because they are overgrown.
Overgrown- no access to trail.
When I visited in May 2017 there was not a discernible path, just an overgrown field. It looks like it would be a really nice spot if it were maintained. I'll check it out again and see if anything changes.
Stupid, why is hunting, and fishing prohibited from this property,STUPID, to many yuppies around I guess
