It is a completely standard Wickes store. Staff are friendly. It has everything you want, just not much of it, so great for a DIYer, not sure it would be good enough for anyone in the trade. Be prepared to look through most of the stock to find a straight 2x4 or 2x3.

Easy shopping, good range of products.
Ordered a few bits on line. Received an email (from a manager Glen) saying they couldn't do the agreed delivery date and said it would arrive a couple of days late which was ok. It never arrived so I emailed the manager Glen who never returned my email. I then contacted customer support who called the store on my behalf and advised the manager would call me back within 4 hours. No one called back. A few more days passed and the order still hadn't been delivered. So I contacted customer service again, who contacted the store again. Once again I was told I'd received a call back and heard nothing. Today, almost two weeks after the original delivery date, the order arrived.... with 6 items missing. No explanation as to why! So I'm again onto customer service, who have promised someone will call me within 5 hours. I'm not holding my breath.
Very helpful staff, polite, knowledgeable. Good range in store. Top stuff.
