I have been going to ZAZA for around a year now. I really like my nail tech. What made me give them just 3 stars is, after being closed for a couple of months due to the pandemic it doesn’t look like they scrubbed the place clean during the shutdown (which was imperative!)...or even after being reopened for 4 months! Stains on the carpet, which were there before the shutdown, have not been removed (meaning, the carpet has not been cleaned in a long time); wire inserts areas at each station have dust in them and, I noticed when I visited there recently, the plexiglass barrier between my tech and me was filthy! A spritz with a cleanser each night (or first thing in the morning) should be done. I don’t know how often inspectors visit nail salons, but, it’s not often enough; and, I really don’t want to report this salon. But, if they do read their reviews I hope they take this to heart. Even before the pandemic, the cleanliness of nail salons should be a first priority.

I went there to get my nails and toes done for my graduation. The pedicure was nice, the hot rocks, hot towels, nice scented exfoliate, but it wasn't "deluxe" or worth 45.. I had a natural nail that was broken off because of an accident i was in where my fake nail took my real one off too, so i asked if it was still possible to put acrylic on it due to the circumstances and i understood if not, they said yes. My natural nails are short so i didn't want them too long but i also didn't want them this short and she had already cut them by the time i could say anything. I said i wanted acrylic because i didn't want them thin and i don't like the powder and i noticed she was taking powder stuff out. So i said again I wanted acrylic and then i had to stop her because she still dipped my fingers in powder. Then my acrylic job was not worth 40. I was already there for so long and had to eventually leave to get ready for graduation so i didn't even have the time to sit there after these were done and explain my frustration. My total came out to 85! If i didn't have a 60 gift card I would NOT have paid for these. The fingers that were dipped in powder were never cleaned off until I went to wash my hands after she put the acrylic on. I knowww my natural nails are short and i even said if they can't do it, that was okay! But I've never ever bled at a manicure. I was hurt/bled twice, i am usually too anxious to speak up but i had to say something this whole manicure. I trieddd to emphasize that it was an important event for me. The acrylic was glopped onto my nail, they were crooked, uneven, i still have acrylic on my hands (I had to shake a thousand hands at graduation and my hands felt gross) and had two fingers with cuts on them. This made me so stressed out about my graduation, i cried. The woman was nice but I wouldn't recommend for the prices. This was a really poor experience.

I waited 20 min, which is pretty common when you don't have an appointment. It was worth the wait! I absolutely love the shape of my nails. I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted, but the nail tech manager is very personable and easy going. She is very knowledgeable about her job. It took her a couple minutes to work with me on coming up with a shape I was happy with. She also loves what she does and will not carry products that are harmful to customers and her employees. Keep up the great work and I'll will be there again with an appointment.

Enjoyable manicure at a great price. My one "complaint" is that I hard a really hard time understanding the lady doing my nails but she still did a wonderful job.
