Have tried to call for an appointment as a new patient over several weeks. The phone rings without an answer. Finally today after 20 rings someone answered. She was flustered and said well your going to have to wait a couple months to see someone. Then she said I needed two separate appointments for glasses and contacts. What? Then she said she had another customer and to call her back! Asked her how I would reach her if no one answers the phone, she said that the Tavares office was not answering and it rolled over to her office. What a mess. Forget it. I called another office in Eustis and booked an eye exam in 5 minutes with glasses/contacts in one visit and they got me in within 2 weeks

Dr. Walsh and her staff are a pleasure! Competent, professional, and pleasant. I was there to establish myself with an eye doctor and had some questions. Dr. Walsh was wonderful in providing information and I have never had such a thorough exam as I did here. I HIGHLY recommend!!!!

I've been going here for several years and I really appreciate all of the staff. They're all very respectful and kind. The doctors I've seen (Holman & Vasquez) are both equally terrific and I will continue to go here for years to come.

The doctors and staff are very professional and friendly. However my insurance didn't cover the refraction part of my eye exam which was 50 out of pocket, and their cost for 'reading lens replacement' in my old frames was 260, which also wasn't covered by my FL Blue Ins. That was 310 cash out of pocket for reading lenses. They were also paid lord knows how much by FL BLUE for the eye exam. So I went down the street to a generic modern eye care shop and got two pair of reading glasses plus two new frames, for 100. I think the insurance industry and the profit margin of Lake Eye Associates is despicable. Their covid 19 policy was to have my husband wait outside in the noonday sun for two hours in his car. Not one shade tree in their complex, I am a very disappointed, low fixed income senior.

At 75 years old I can truthfully say that this was the very best Dr appointment I have ever had. Thank you Lake Eye for being this great
