What an awesome experience!! Great food, atmosphere, owners and staff We had a variety of dishes... each authentic, fresh, excellent. Don't miss this hidden Mt. Dora gem. This place is highly recommended! Can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes we saw come from the kitchen!

Love this place! The food was excellent, the service friendly and efficient. The chef/owner came out and spoke with us and made suggestions. Just warm and inviting, the whole experience.

Very good authentic Peruvian food. Lomo saltado is excellent as is the cause. Don't go if you don't want to try Peruvian.

We decided on Pisco Sour because the flavorful scents that encircled us as we walked pass the restaurant. Neither of us had ever tasted Peruvian cuisine until we dined here. Pisco Sour Restaurant of Mount Dora, Florida has a pleasant atmosphere for dining. One can tell this is a scratch kitchen restaurant by the flavorful dish and the art on the plate. Both of us were pleasantly surprised by the fresh crisp taste of the salad and special sauce, which mind you, takes 2 hours to prepare in the morning hours. If you ever get a chance to try this sauce ... The chicken on skew was moist and full of delicious flavor. I personally enjoyed trying the Peruvian corn. The hamburger and fries plate was very tasty and enough to fulfill a large man of 6 foot 5. I ended my dinner with caramel covered custard, which was the best custard I’ve ever eaten. The waitress, Brenda, was friendly, outgoing and extremely attentive but not overbearing and the Bartender, Justice, was pleasant with her kind words and genuine smiles. Both Brenda and Justice knew their specific menu by memory. We stayed a bit longer than the meal itself, because George the owner and chef, came out to speak with the guests. George spoke of Peru and it’s beauty of culture and foods. What a wonderful way to end the day climbing Mount Dora. Thank you Brenda, Justice and George. One suggestion is to have Peruvian music playing.

Food was excellent. The portions were large, well seasoned, ingredients were fresh and not over cooked. Very clean and staff is friendly. The owner actually spent a few minutes with us which is a rarity these days. Prices are more than fair. Best flan ever, beats Miami, Tampa, Orlando. Location is near the lake, great for an after dinner stroll.

I first visited the Mt Dora location a few months ago and the food was so good I had to come back. They moved and we found the new location in Tavares. I cant say enough about the friendly staff and the excellent food. The servers were fantastic and a lot of fun. The owner/chef spent a lot of time visiting with guests and talking about the cuisine. He made some excellent recommendations. It was a very enjoyable experience and one that I look forward to repeating very soon. Definitely worth the trip!!!!

We ate here in fall 2017 just after it opened. The food was unique and quite tasty. The service was slow, even though there were very few people in the restaurant. We hope this has improved since they opened. We will definitely go back for the food, though.
