First time here. The service was good. Nothing overly spectacular which is why it only got four stars. My nails looked lovely. Didn't do my normal extravagance bc it was my first time, will see how they do in the weeks to come. Keep up the good job and they'll make tons of money from me and my family.

I was in town visiting my mom in Leesburg, when I saw the new Tavares Crossing Shopping Center. Stopped in to Tavares Nails and Spa for a quick pedicure. Beautiful, clean, spacious facility with a very welcoming staff. Loan gave me a wonderful pedi and was so sweet and friendly. Hurry in, because if word gets out how great it is, you'll have to wait weeks to make an appointment!
I just called to get pricing and the women hung up on me. I got charged 48 for a fill on my fingernails. I asked for a pedicure and he did a color change instead of listening to me. That was an additional 10 by the way. So total to get a fill and color change was 58. When the person with me got a full pedicure and fill on her manicure for a total of 60. How this makes sense, it doesn’t. Don’t recommend coming here for any reason!!
Wasn’t happy with the nail tech at all He cut the sides of my nails, left rough edges, and used the grossest smelling lotion, I think it was either super cheap or old. I asked for one coat of polish for a more natural look and he put the one coat on so thick it was lumpy and I immediately took it off when I came home (I also had to try to file them as the edge cutting left them pointy and rough). Each time I spoke up it was like I was bothering him. My biggest gripe is that a manager of some sort did not address this with me. It was like they were all afraid to ask how to remedy the situation, even when I asked to change nail techs. He also openly complained about me to the other techs (he didn’t know I could understand what he said). He’s lucky I’m in the public service industry myself so I of course tipped him for his time - at least that is worth something. To make matters worse, he never acknowledged it and ignored me when I left. What an embarrassment for this establishment. Management should be ashamed of themselves. If you have an unhappy customer, you should ALWAYS address it right away. Shame, shame.
