We shared our first holiday meal (Thanksgiving) with four residents and a total of 3 guests (two of which were my sister and one of her grandsons) at our new home, The Cove at Tavares Village, today (11/28/19). WHAT A FEAST!! There was TURKEY, mashed potatoes with gravy over both, sweet potato casserole, asparagus, cornbread stuffing (I DON'T LIKE cornbread stuffing, but I tried it and ATE ALL OF WHAT was on my plate!!!), cranberry sauce, and a roll. For dessert, we had our choice of pumpkin, cherry, or Dutch apple pie! We all were VERY PLEASED with the meal. What pleasant conversation in getting to know our new neighbors while enjoying such a fabulous meal. KUDOS to Rick as well as his entire kitchen and serving staff. They all work very hard while maintaining a pleasant and helpful attitude toward ALL the residents. Rick, the main cook, was off for the holiday, but you never realized it. The meals are always so consistent that you're never sure which cook is on! Our meals are truly DOWN HOME COOKIN'... Thank you ALL for the work you do in keeping us all WELL FED and HAPPY!!!

My Mother and Father were in assisted living here. Excellent care, very clean with a great staff. My Mom is now in Memory care there and it is wonderful as well. Very much like a big family. Food is good too!
My mother is very happy at The Cove and I have no regrets in placing Mom in this facility. The facility is always clean with a fresh smell. The entire staff is welcoming. They are always friendly and extremely attentive. My concerns are promptly addressed and if needed, adjustments are promptly made. I am confident knowing that Mom is in good hands at The Cove.
What a wonderful Thanksgiving day Celebration I had at the Cove. Not only did I enjoy the wonderful meal but also the warm personal interaction with the staff. I'd like to personally thank Leila,Lillie, Paula, Lisa, DC and the rest of the staff for an unforgettable day. A special thanks to Rick for his leadership and planning. .
