Product quality is simply top, impressive vegetables from their own garden. It will have 5 stars of the time between dishes was not so long. Recommended!

Worth the visit. Not only the village is amazingly beautiful, but this place is so good that the only problem is that as you eat you lose the appetite....

We were on a Sunday day trip from Barcelona on our way to visit the scenic cliffs around the Sau artificial lake, and we have been attracted to this restaurant that looked more sophisticated than the average countryside place. They offer 2 menus, one around 80 and one around 40 euro. We went for the less costly also because we were planning to go for a stroll afterwards. We made clear that one of us is vegan and the chef offered to adjust some of the courses accordingly. This made this meal one of the best vegan restaurant meals we ever had. All courses were interesting, well executed, well presented, on a right balance between high-end cuisine and a rustic fare with local products. After an interesting amuse bouche – pickled green bean, we enjoyed a couple of entrees – with a remarkable “2 preparations” celery. The first course was a raw cabbage salad, available with egg or not according to choice. The meat main was duck breast, while the vegan alternative was a topinambur salad with fried artichokes slices. The dessert on the menu was a revisited Catalan cream while the vegan option was an orange with a savory emulsion. We loved the rustic bread served on a side. The decor is minimalistic yet with a countryside twist. The restaurant also has a dehors with a nice afternoon light orientation. Service was attentive and genuinely kind. Overall a very good address that checks a lot of boxes and offers an interesting cuisine in an elegant yet laid back atmosphere that fits perfectly the scenic nice country town.

Stumbling into this restaurant was one of the best experiences of our vacation. The manager spoke English well and went out of his way to feed us even though it was late afternoon (when we Americans are hungry!) The salad was a delightful combination of colorful ingredients and the wine was reasonably priced. It is an adventure driving the road to this town, but was it ever worth it, in many regards!

Exceeded my expectations. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was original and lovingly made. Worth the trip on its own right.
