We‘ve been there three times, because it was so good! The new Manager is very kind, and a food geek. He try‘s to serve only regional and healthy food. Traditionell and tasty! Fresh fish and vegetables, great Octopus salad, and good meat. Classic desserts and some well selected wine to go with all of it. All served outside in a small -no cars- street, or inside in a total classic old portuguese style Restaurant. It just feels good to go there!

Not worth a visit! We had octopus and tuna there. Octopus burned and too salty, tuna tasteless, overcooked and super dry! Manager was nice until we said the food is not great! Definitely we will not be back here again! They mixed up our order as well and charged us additionally for the salad which was supposed to be served with the dish! So thinking to dine here don’t bother! Go somewhere else!

We had a lovely fish for two, including potatoes and vegs for 32. Personnel spoke English, and they were very nice. Recommended.

We just stopped in for appetizers and drinks. We ended up getting dessert too. The clams on the starter menu were fantastic and the sauce is worth getting an extra order of bread just o soak it up. We had the house vino verde, perfect for a warm evening. The service was great and the location perfect. The patio was on an alley perfect for people watching.

Thank you for everything! Great spot in Tavira!! The food was great and super fresh, the prawns were delicious and everything on point! Our waiter was amazingly nice and accommodating. Don’t forget to try the local liquor of “medronho” that helps you keep cool on a hot day! (*_*) With a lot of restaurants to pick from in Tavira, we wanted to try something less touristy (no Guinness logos/chips we see enough of them at home!). We were lucky to stumble upon O Manel! We will definitely be back when we return to Algarve!
