I cycled to Tavistock from Plymouth so I stopped at this bakery for a pasty. This is a small shop so the selection is quite small but certainly enough if you want something sweet. A small pasty cost less than 2 so the prices were very reasonable. The place accepts card payments and the staff were nice.
Great pasties, hot and very tasty. Awesome millionaires shortbread and choc brownie, all delicious, and was a cheap price too. We will be back
I ordered a cake for the anniversary at this bakery and the result disappointed me greatly, I was greatly saddened. I was ashamed to show such a cake for an anniversary, the festive mood was spoiled. Cake very poor quality, poorly made; tasteless, not fresh, very dry, not fluffy, not soft. The decoration is very ugly and the cake itself is unholy, ugly, looks fried any way. The one who baked this cake has absolutely no experience and does not pay, does not try. I do not recommend ordering a cake for a celebration at this bakery, you will get a very poor product and pay dearly.
