I signed an agreement with Mr. Babut and was represented by Mr. Greg Frye an associate of Mr. Babut for my disability review and since I was already on long term disability and my payments were already being deposited into my bank account, we agreed on a set amount, and not a portion or percentage of the final outcone which I paid. But to my surprise i got a letter from Social Security Administration stating that Mr. Frye sent them a request that he us representing my wife and children and therefore they deduct a lawyer fee from their final settlements!! When I tried to reach out to Mr. Babut and Frye via registered mail there was no reply. Regards to say the Social Secuirty did deduct lawyer fees and paid them on a case was already processed and payments was being paid and the only reason there was a back payments withheld was due to payee representatives issue and they took advantage of that and used as a back pay one sum issue. I am following up with filling a grievance with the state BAR since It wasn't fair how they charged my wife and kids for lawyer fees just because the law in certain situation will allow such a payment but in our case it wasn't applicable yet they went through with it regardless of the impact it had on my family.
