Made an appointment last week. Nothing written down in their diary so had to explain again why I was there. Not sure why I made an appointment. Had to leave vehicle overnight, not a problem but unexpected.
You know what, these people are awesome and down to earth truthful. Could have taken me for a ride, 150.00 later I had a diagnosis and that led down the path in the right way vs. thousands of unneeded expense. Thank you !!
Worse diesel place i have done businesses with..... I will never go back very unprofessional dealing with them , spent over a 1000 and can’t get my car resolve, attitude suck didn’t care about rather your car gets fix or not… the owner john is a crook enough said
Very disappointed in the service I received from this shop. Booked an appointment for an etest for my diesel truck for 8 am. The women at the front desk was friendly and helpful. After dealing with her I had to deal with a man named John who I think was the owner. He was miserable with me right from the start. They made me wait there close to an hour before coming back and telling me my truck failed the etest. I thought the guy was joking. My truck has passed the last 6 etests in 3 different shops. They charged me 65 dollars for what they did. When I asked him where I need to go from here to get my truck passed he responded with "I don't know you know that that truck smokes" (which I have only noticed when I start it first thing on a cold morning) "you have to leave it here and we have to figure out what is wrong with it" I told him that I was not happy with the service that I received and that he had been miserable with me since I got there. He told me that I was the one who is miserable. So I paid my bill and kept driving to the shop in St Catharines where I went a couple years ago who my mechanic recommended. Little bit farther drive from my place. I was in and out in 30 minutes and the truck "magically" passed. I would never go back to Taylor Diesel and I hope this helps someone else who might want there vehicle etested. This John guy at Taylor Diesel needs to change his attitude. Not a pleasant person to deal with.
This guy hates powerstroke. John is his name took me for 1000 said he took off my quarter panel to access my injectors on my 02 7.3 powerstroke??? Who the hell would do that. Nonetheless I pulled the truck right out of there. Never will I go back.
worse company ever, bring the truck in there cause it puking coolant out the reservoir cap 6 L powerstoke 2006 they tell me trucks garbage that its head gaskets for sure big money then itll need egr cooler and head studs and the engines garbage and then it wont be the end of it basically talked me out of doing the job charged me 180 bucks i pick up drive off and the turbo not working now i pull over lift the hood coolant cap is off and theres a wire unpluged, im no mechanic but i plug it in and now the turbo works, so i take it to Doctor Diesel in Acton, they tell me ive already got head studs done ive had and egr delete already i may need a injector and the head gasket is going but its fixable, i would never recommend anyone with a diesel pick up go to Taylor Diesel, especially for a head gasket charged me 180 to tell me what i already knew that it needed new head gasket and took them 4 days to do that, horrible service.
