First time there and was real happy with my experience. Good food with fair prices. Service was great and real helpful. Server gave us a detailed tour of the menu and how the ordering process went. Will definitely be going back soon!!

It's incredible! I've been 3 times now and, other than it being hard to get a table, the food and service are outstanding. The menu is a little confusing. At first glance it looks like you have to choose a minimum of 2 items, but they also have a Mini option that comes with one seafood. They all come with potatoes and corn. Since I only like one kind of seafood, I added the sausage to my bag for only a few dollars more and they give you plenty. I've tried several of the spices, but my favorite was the original Cajun - spicy. It was the perfect amount of spice. Seriously everything was so good (well, except for the corn on the cob. You can tell they're using frozen corn - but maybe they will change that when corn is in season). I wish it was closer so I could go more often. This picture is a mini boil with snow crab legs and smoked sausage.

I've been here 4 times but this is my first time back since the covid shutdown. Shrimp, crawfish, king crab legs with fire (I like super spicy but still edible food) sauce. Our waiter was named Bryant and he was awesome. Best customer service from him! Food was great as usual and drinks (frozen margarita) were pretty good too. Will always return.

Hook and Reel Cajun Seafood restaurant has fresh and delicious seafood. My family normally orders the seafood boil with the Shrimp, 2-3 Clusters of crab, boiled eggs, corn, potatoes with Mild Garlic butter! We also order the Seafood Boil with a the king Crab. The king Crab are amazing. Seafood is expensive . Reasonable portions. Never had a bad experience with our orders or the Seafood. Yes, I would Recommend anyone to dine.

The interior decor was very cool, but other than that, the Hook & Reel leaves much to be desired. The Taylor, MI location was embarrassing. There were 15-20 empty tables, and we were told the wait time will be 30 minutes or more. We need to order drinks two at a time, due to never seeing any wait staff after the first initial contact. I finally found one waitress and asked if I could order a drink, and was told "you're not my table". The "crab" roll sandwich, was individual hairs of "crab" that had certain parts died orange, and had zero flavor. The "lobster" bisque, was basically a bechemel with white cheddar. Zero seafood/lobster flavor, or chunks. Wouldn't recommend.

WOW! Words can't describe this restaurant. Everything was great. Here on business and by far this was one of the best restaurants I've been to. Anything you order on the menu is delicious. Wish I had known about this place sooner. Had pictures but got accidentally got deleted. What you see in their website is what you're going to get.

Excellent First time here . Visiting from Florida. First and foremost Brian our server was awesome. He understood and knew the menu almost like he wrote it, very knowledgeable. He was easy to talk to and when you spoke he listened. He definitely has some people skills. The food was great. Had Crab and Shrimp boil with their special sauce. It was an amazing taste experience. The food was hot, the spice was perfect and Brian was outstanding. If you want good boil well go here. I love that special sauce which is actually a mix of all of their sauces, it was really delicious.

First time here with the family, the food wasn’t too bad. For how busy it was the waitress made sure we were good. The reason for the 3 stars is because once we got our checks and tried to pay for them the lady in the front (that wasn’t busy) couldn’t cash us out, she called the VERY BUSY waitress and made her do it with a nasty attitude (She had the blue short hair) besides that our waitress (Anna) was great & experience was good.
