They didn't have the size in the color i wanted so the girl in the shoe department told me they could order them and they would be there in a week. She did and they arrived on time im very happy about that and that she let me know of that so 5 stars there and the overall store looks great and has a great selection. The reason for 4 stars was because when I picked up the girl was 2 registers down counting money and let me and another customer stand there for 10 minutes until the other customer went and asked her if we should come down there then she acknowledged us. Then I didn't want others that were with me knowing what I was getting because it was a gift and I never had an incidence where they opened the bag opened the box and checked on the item inside??? Is this proper protocol? I mean if it didn't fit I would return it. Just didn't seem right to me and the not acknowledging us was reason for my score otherwise I love this store.

It's OK didn't have what I wanted and guy or should I say kid behind counter wasn't helpful at all. It's like anywhere u go anymore workers are just rude unhelpful and inconsiderate That's y I just usually shop online now. And BTW Amazon had what I needed for cheaper. But if your sales person would have been more helpful I would have gotten it there.

JC Penney is one of my favorite stores and, boy, did I ever get some great items on clearance today! The only thing that bothers me is the small number of check out stations, but I suppose that's here to stay! Store is clean and organized - staff cheerful and helpful!

Love this store. Good clothes with good deals. A few more expensive clothing items but mostly affordable. I bought my first dress since high school here for only 35, originally 65. So I had to buy a second dress for the same price originally 70. My shoes were originally 80, got them for 40!
