This firm was recommended to me by another plumber who was reluctant to try and find the source of our heating problems ( for the last 5 years!) They have been here on a few occasions attending to other works required to rectify a series of other plumbers mistakes. In all areas they have been exemplary in every aspect of expectations. Lawrence and Jay fitted a boiler on one of my rental properties last year. Last minute request as boiler had died leaving tenants and young child without heat or hot water in the winter. Obviously plumbers are very busy in the winter months, yet the boiler was replaced at a reasonable cost and less than a week after the breakdown. All went perfectly without too much inconvenience for the tenants. Lawrence kept me updated with progress during the installation. very pleased.

Waited 2 weeks to fix a kitchen mixer tap nobody came or contacted me after initial call turns out they forgot! Won’t be using them or recommending to anyone.
I'm finding this review difficult to do as I really liked Lawrence. My problems come in with the fact that at the onset, I wasnt told that the boiler was 14 years old and probably better to replace, than throw money at it. It subsequently broke down a few days later which they did sort out, and then a week after that it broke down again. They went back but failed to give me any follow up call to break down costs for fixing or give me any update at all. I was left under the impression that my tenants had heating, but they didn't. I then called them once I found out and was then only given an update of the situation. I was told that the boiler had to be moved , from neatly inside a cupboard to the entrance . He said that the flue length came up to 11 and a half meters and the maximum any boiler can take is 10 meters. Well, I've contacted a reputable company who have fitted in a boiler that can take a flue length of 17 meters, so that was a lie and had I gone with them would have incurred way more costs. This new boiler is fitted after not even a month of paying 280 initially to fix it! So really disappointed. It's not 1 star because they were polite and did initially go quickly to sort out. Also because they did go back.
