Warning to Any parents with children in Taylor preschool or schools in general... Beware of the NEW HIGH SCOPE CURRICULUM THEY STARTED 2017 !!! They have demoralized what and who our children are being taught! I have been threw 4 children/10years of Johnson GSRP preschool program and this is my last baby attending, Im more than displeased AS OF THIS YEAR ! The drastic changes, stipulations put on the teachers, as well as the effect it is having on all of the children not to mention the staff and parents. They are turning our children into sheep, they will never be leaders they will only be followers programmed to not have compassion, enthusiasm about learning, MANNERS, among so many other things they are taking away from our little ones! Please everyone do your research on HIGH SCOPE , ask other parents their experiences, ask your teachers their thoughts (even tho they are NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE ONE!) and rally up to take back our schools ! I voted to pass taxes and millages for our schools... NEVER AGAIN !!! They have wronged us as parents, they have wronged our children, they have even wronged the staff and faculty ! How can you tell a teacher they can NOT say good job to my child to lift his spirits up and give him the encouragement needed to continue to always do his best... SHAME ON HIGH SCOPE , SHAME ON THE PEOPLE LETTING THIS HAPPEN AND SHAME ON US FOR NOT STANDING UNITED FOR OUR CHILDREN !!! I move to start a petition and bring this problem to Lansing. If they refuse to listen i will be with drawing my children and finding somewhere else to go and email a few \anonymous\ PEOPLE who will care and listen.
