Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. The poor quality of my couch and recliner is extremely disturbing considering the cost. The leather is beyond worn. It began flaking off within the year. After unsuccessful attempts to discuss this with the store where I purchased it (Unlimited furniture of Brooklyn NY) I wrote numerous emails to the manufacturer. Not one was answered. I called and was told that Hancock and Moore does not deal directly with the customer. I’ve decided to throw it out and go with a different manufacturer and store. This has been a stressful and awful experience.

Bought a Hancock and Moore chair. Very comfortable, but after 6 months the leather started flaking in several spots. We have tried to get a replacement, but it has taken several weeks. Customer service is very slow, so if you have any issues, be prepared to be frustrated. Not what I was expecting, given the amount of money that was spent on the chair. I asked for a refund or a loaner until the issue was resolved and was denied both. Now we may be without a chair for weeks or months. Maybe one of the issues is one of their dealers Connecticut Home Interiors.
We have purchased 3 pieces over 5 years. We have been 100 % happy with each purchase. Daly glider, Crosby glider and Nordic Tightback sofa. If they still had the Andru Glider we would have 3 more. Oh... and they NEED an eggplant colored protected leather!!!
I am very disappointed in the sewing, finishing and construction of a recently purchased leather recliner chair (approx. 3300) from Hancock & Moore. The bottom of the right arm of the chair is noticeably narrower than the left. The stitching on the top of the right arm, at the front, looks like it is ready to pull apart. Seams are also not as straight as they should be for the price of this chair. The quality of the sewing/construction of the chair is poor compared to a previously purchased sofa from H&M. Based on this chair, I cannot recommend H&M if you are expecting high quality in the sewing and finishing of their furniture. Photos of the issues with the chair can be provided upon request.
Can not imagine better quality ...i really love my chair as it ages it looks even better
The company in general is Awesome to work at and a lot of good people work here but the management here is terrible. They have so many pics and favs that they great day hard-working employees like dirt, wouldn't suggest this employer to anyone
A superb company that makes the best furniture in class within the industry, and also has the finest customer service in the business. As a dealer in many furniture lines for over 30 years, I can tell you that Hancock and Moore sets the standards that other companies strive to emulate.
