5-star except the circuit training area is NOT a judgement free zone. I'm simply trying to follow the rules for the area, but most other people don't. So I have a hard time doing my workout without running into conflicts. I'm simply trying to adhere to the rules and I find this type of workout helpful. But other people like the area just as a place to hang out or occupy a machine and perform several sets, which ruins the ability of everyone else to complete the circuit training. I feel intimidated and judged every time I simply try and follow the rules. I feel like I am putting the staff out when I ask them to move people, because I'm a naturally shy person and find it hard to ask others to move by myself. In the past when I have tried to get people to move, I have encountered resistance and condemnation. This area is designed to move from machine to machine every 60 seconds and so is not conducive to using the machines to sit and rest or to perform multiple sets of the same exercise. PLEASE, If we're going to have this area, members use it how it is intended and staff make sure that these procedures are followed without being asked.

This gym just gets better and better...the fact they are 24/7 is Amazing! Yeah, the overnight guy is a little clueless, but we're not trying to recreate the wheel here. We're trying to get our swoll on.
This planet fitness is in franchise with the South Jordan location and is at least less busy and more accomadating than South Jordan. The man running the front desk around 6 30pm on Saturday was kind enough but more focused on other things rather than offering a tour even after stating it was our first time there he only pointed towards the locker rooms. The atmosphere was very clean and non smelly. It felt light in the air and friendly. There was a second employee a female running around cleaning with glasses on. We didn't have to wait for any equipment which is wonderful. The locker rooms were fair as well and they were very clean. Wasnt a fan of noticing a dad shuttling his two boys around the gym one well under the age of 13yrs old. The other planet fitness gyms dont allow kids under 13 and so this was surprising. The dad even made the kid strip down and shower in the locker room even though he was uncomfortable. The equipment was great and i didn't notice a single thing out of order Some of the equipment areas are spread out though at this location making it the most confusing of all the planet fitness locations I have been to yet. They had a stretching area through the black card spa which made no sense. I used a massage chair which felt great. The showers also had great pressure and temperature. The front desk area was very tidy as well. Loved the black couch up front. Battle ropes here had a strange cover on them and so when hitting the floor it felt strange to me. This is my personal opinion and not the company's position.
Very great place to workout! Excellent environment and various workout machines and very clean! Social distancing and cleaning throughout the facility daily throughout the day!! Friendly staff as well.
I came in a few weeks ago with my boyfriend. There was a billing issue with my boyfriends account, but we were able to get it solved pretty quickly. The tall guy with dreads was super nice and helpful! The gym was very clean for the most part, and there are a lot of cleaning/sanitization stations. The only complaint I would have is that sometimes people don’t wear masks when they aren’t working out, but overall this is a great gym!
It is the best gym around. Very clean, and super friendly staff. Members are cool too so, cool environment. I’ve been members of many different clubs in NYC area but this one is the best so far.
01-18-21 First time here; staff was friendly and showed me around, explaining what the Gym offers. Other people seem to keep to themselves and everyone keeps their social distance for the most part. The Free Weights area is spacious enough. Gym equipment is spaced apart every other equipment, to help with social distancing. Definitely not an "Intimidating" gym as they say. Most people I saw seem like regular gym goers and non-regular folks like myself just trying to better themselves. I like that all the equipment comes with a QR Scan Code so you can use your phone and their app to give you instructions on how to properly use their machines. Also you can use your phone to check in with your own personal QR code, which makes checking-in easier. They have this "30 Minute Workout" section that works on a sort of "Red Light/ Green Light" gimmick, but you have to be two machines apart from other individuals if you want to take your turn. All in all, I think it does suit gym beginners well.
Sherri was patient getting me setup for just what I needed. Pool is a little cold but I love it!!!
