I specifically asked for a certain to go order and repeated it twice and still had to go back in there and get the correct order. We ordered 2 waffles covered in chocolate chip.. but they put them on top of each other so only one was covered and the other one just had a little on it. The 2 medium egg order with hashbrowns was suppose to have a side of gravy. When we ordered double hashbrowns with cheese and peppers and it only had 1 slice of cheese.. they put the toast in with all the other food so it just soaked up all the liquid and it was soggy. Who wants to eat soggy toast? We also had to go back for biscuits and gravy. Such a bummer we had to make an extra trip to make our order correct. I will always love waffle house but this waffle house wasnt short staffed so in my opinion this shouldnt have happened.
I am a truck driver. Very seldom do I find a Waffle House I can take a semi to where I all go. Today I found this one on a whim. I happen to have my 10 yr old with me. He has been waiting all year to go to a Waffle House on the road with me. We were denied entry for not having masks. The places I go as a driver do not require masks. So I do not have one in the truck. Let alone a second one for my son. Now I have to waste my 30 minute break not eating and stop somewhere down the road to get him something to eat. Because I mean a semi can’t just go anywhere. I understand masks are a thing many places now. But once you’re to a table it can be taken off. Why can’t they simply offer a mask??? What a shame.
