Best Campground in Te Anau. We checked out all the camp grounds in town before settling on this one. Beautiful grounds with hedging for privacy and nice views over the mountains river and lake. Clean facilities and hot showers. Only 3mins into town and totally worth it.

Except the poor wifi and bit far kitchen for the campsite, the facilities were very good and comfortable.

Avoid if you can. To me this place seems like they're just in it to make easy money. - There's rules for everything and you get threatened with additional charges, you'll probably get a charge for looking at the owners funny as well (see attached photos) - They have almost no cutlery in the shared kitchen, instead they give you a couple of plates etc to carry there, so if it's raining good luck. - No towels to use for when you want to take a shower. - The reception lady was very unpleasant - Showers are quite dirty, do these even get cleaned daily? - Kitchen not the cleanest - The views are not great, so I'm not sure why this place is called "Great Views" when all you can see is a bunch of grass and some barbed wire. Looking at past reviews the owner is probably going to post something snarky instead of actually trying to improve their cash grabbing business.

Disappointing for the price. Stayed here 1 night and a few things to keep in mind before: Owners will only accept cash payments ‘to save us the charge’ which meant driving into town, taking a cash withdrawal fee and driving back. In this day in age the only reason not to accept a card payment is for tax avoidance reasons. 2 showers for the 40 odd campers, so there will be wait depending on what time you go. Showers run from a hot water tank so will run cold very quickly, I had 1 very cold shower in my stay. The 2 or 3 toilets for the whole campsite are unisex. No great views to be had, maybe beyond the hedges. Sauna is 10 a pop. Positives: Bathrooms are clean Easy to use and very accessible grey / black water drainage area.

We booked a double room (indeed mobile home) with pretty well-equipped kitchenette. Very clean and soud proof is acceptable. Hot water and eletric blanket are not too stable.. can be cold at nights... The old lady at the reception is trying her best to help and she appears quite rude and comes from another planet.. Appreciate the views over the mountains. Not cheap for this quality.

good views to the hills of Te Anau lake, nice sunsets. It was very cleaned up but for a two persons room too expansive, even though we got a cozy room (all accomodations in that town are very expensive).

It was amazing. Actually more than amazing. The service was great, and the staff were friendly. They had beautiful rooms, and everything was very clean and tidy. There was a beautiful kitchen and barbecue area. It was gorgeous and I would most definitely stay again.
