Bruh! One of the best ma and pops spots I've came across traveling this amazing country of ours. My recommendation is to order the steak rib eye sandwich and you'll won't regret it! Thank you for the awesome sandwich keep it up!

We have lived here about 8 years and have said many times we was going to try Cookie's Place but never did until tonight. OMG She can cook!!!! From our waitress to the food and meeting Cookie brought me back to the visits to my grandma's house. We don't actually have blood relatives here in Mexia. We're originally from Conroe/Willis area and had a favorite restaurant that served food just like Cookie's. We have searched everywhere here and the closest we git was Charlie Allen's but we found it tonight with Cookie's. We felt at home. So go support her and her family. I asked her to open one in Mexia but she said she can't get anyone that wants to work. So encourage her to open another place in Mexia. This town needs another restaurant like being at grandma's again..... Bless you Ms. Cookie for putting so much love into your cooking️ You definitely have repeat customers with us. I have already informed my family that is where we're going to eat the next time they come to visit️ God please flourish and show favor to this sweet lady, her family, and employees Amen️️️️
