Gillian Million is the most beautiful shop I've ever been into. She has a stunning range of dresses and accessories. I also love that Gillian has a mix of dresses that feel a bit different and unusual in comparison to other bridal shops. I had the most wonderful time trying on and buying my wedding dress and headpiece from her. Gillian was so lovely and helpful during the process - she made the experience even better!

Given this was the purchase of my wedding dress, I did not think I would need to leave a review like this, however, I feel it is important to share my experience. Gillian Million claims that all dresses are dry-cleaned – in my instance I do not believe this was the case. Between purchase and my fitting, damage appeared on the dress, and advice from multiple dry cleaners was that the dress had not been professionally dry cleaned, resulting in orange/brown fabric discolouration, which develops over time. I was very shocked to discover this, and asked for proof of dry cleaning from Gillian Million. No proof, receipt or document could be provided. As the fabric was irreversibly damaged, the lining had to be entirely replaced. Although Gillian Million did eventually cover the costs to fix the dress, dealing with Gillian Million was an incredibly upsetting and unpleasant experience. If you do decide to purchase a dress from Gillian Million – ensure you obtain proof of dry cleaning before the purchase. Otherwise, I would recommend buying directly from a previous owner.
My experience with Gillian was one of my favourite of all the preparations for my wedding. She is very welcoming, has an amazing energy (even after being working no stop for 10 hours) and has an impeccable eye for what will suit you and what your vision is for your big day. She made the whole experience of finding a dress very fun and special and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks so much Gillian! x
I had such a wonderful experience with Gillian. She made choosing a dress such a relaxed and enjoyable day. There is an enormous range of beautiful dresses, and Gillian is such an expert, that the whole process was a delight. I cannot recommend her enough.
I really wish I didn't have to write this review as Gillian is a lovely person, but it is important. I gave Gillian my Berta Bridal wedding gown to sell and after about 2-3 months of no sale, I asked for it back as I decided to keep it. When the dress returned to me it was in pieces... The top was completely ripped apart and the skirt was not only dirty, but ripped at the back. Bless her Gillian asked for the dress back to have it fixed by a seamstress (even though I insisted in taking it to The Wedding Club where they sell Berta in the UK), but the first photo will show the awful stitching on the skirt. The top does look much better now thankfully. I wish they had been more careful with the dress and not allow people to try it on unless they were serious buyers with the budget, and had the dress size, not just squeeze in and ripped it...
