Hooshang is definitely NOT your average uncle. Maybe he is the "Omelete uncle", but not yours. But, there is no other way to call this shop. In district 1 of Tehran, and Shemiranat, there are places, that refuse to change with the ever-changing face of the city, and this is exactly their winning combo. Whatever they provide you here, is an old school in the traditional way. The place meant to provide breakfast and lunch for most men, but these days the customer matters, regardless of your gender. Dizi and Omelete are the most favorite foods here. There is a fresh bakery, close to this spot, which provides the customers with hot and fresh traditional Iranian bread. The identity of the "Dizi" and "Omelete" without this bread is nothing! Tea is always hot and served in old ways, in teapots, before or after you are done with your food. The behavior is a bit out of civilized sort, and you may visit some weird people, but I guess this is what this place offering you. The best approach is to order your food and not stare other weird people around if you meet any, because they will gaze back at you in a way that you wish not to. Prices are affordable, parking spot could be challenging, since the whole street has the old days width, and can't handle too many cars here.

We tried it for both break fast and lunch , It is a very small restaurant quite old with very very old interior and exterior ! How ever don’t let the appearance fool you . Do not expect a pleasant interior and furniture as it’s the most simple and humble . If you are the fussy type I don’t recommend it , We ordered sunny side up and scrambled egg with veggies and pickles . It was served with traditional hot bread I highly recommend . Along with cheez . It was very busy and all seats were packed , but staff were still attentive . Famous dish for lunch is Khoresht gheime , which is tasty . They also serve Hubble bubble in afternoon which when we ordered our lunch it was not served as I’m not a fan of Hubble bubble . Price is good and moderate .
A typical old school Iranian Café, no-frills, no bells and whistle, no menu with fancy names. They have a few traditional dishes but they make it damn good. It has a macho atmosphere, a typical place for locals to have food, but one can spot couples having lunch there as well. They offer Shisha inside so if you don't like smoke it might not be pleasant.
Good price and delicious food
This is the best Gheymeh you can find in Tehran. Amoo Hooshang has kept the place just as same its early years.
The best and good price
Good breakfast omelets but you should really go there for lunch. They serve one of the best Trattoria style Ghime stew with rice. Parking will be difficult but worth the wait.
Too crowded, but hot bread and tasty Omellette makes up for it
