Good food, more than sufficient, extremely well cooked. Great service from the girls.

Very covid safe each seating area now has it own screens. Tables cleared and cleaned as soon as each customer leaves. Piping hot food, chips cooked perfectly lightly brown, no anaemic looking chips like other places. Good value. Welcoming staff. A pleasure to visit.

What’s gone wrong? Always our favourite fish and chip shop but lunch today was the worst fish and chips we can remember. Very small piece of fish wrapped in lots of batter and the chips were very poor and with lots of scribbens.

Service excellent and the food was ok. Lunchtime special with small cod, bread and tea was good value. Large cod had a patch of dark flesh which had a strong flavour from the roe I guess, and was not to my taste (small cod was all white and had a lovely taste) great batter and good chips. Wife loved your mushy peas so that's quite a compliment! Overall good fodder for a soggy Friday.
