Investment House Ltd. and Catalyst Fund Israel’s first China-Israel PE fund the GoforIsrael conference is the 18th annual conference, one of the most prestigious business conferences in Israel. It brings together an increasing number of investors, participants and organizations. GoforIsrael focuses on emerging markets, addressing the current issues related to fund raising and establishing strategic global alliances, while keeping a strong connection with China, Europe and the US. The highlight of the past conference in China was the meetings between Israeli entrepreneurs and hundreds of Chinese investors including Alibaba executives, Tencent, Baidu, Lenovo, and many funds, competing for their time and meetings with directors of Israeli companies. At the Shanghai conference there were 1700 participants, including 1000 Chinese investors, 750 one-on-one meetings between Israeli companies and Chinese investors, double the number of meetings planned. At the Conference in Wuhan, there were about 1180 participants which included over 500 Chinese investors and over 300 1:1 meetings. The Israeli companies that appeared before the Chinese investors were well-established high-tech companies alongside young startups, all of them received tremendous interest; to name just a few of those present: Zerto, XJet, WeWork, Tufin, ReWalk, Kaminario and Mobileye. In previous years, our conference has welcomed several Heads of State, including Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. After last years big success, in 2018 our events will be held in Israel and China where some of the major participants will include managers from publicly traded companies, VC and PE Funds, conglomerates, family offices, financial institutions and Israeli technology companies.
