I have frequented Asda since childhood even before it was Asda. My experience of the security staff has been appalling and I strongly advice you to shop elsewhere and you will see why in after reading this. Today I went into the store at about half past two this afternoon. I was shopping with my daughter who has severe learning disabilities and is easily upset. Whilst I was shopping I was approached by a security staff member acting as a COVID steward and told to pull my mask up which I did promptly, the mask I was wearing had simply slipped down my nose as I have a small nose and wear glasses, however they continued to barrage me with advice and orders that I only know too well as I work in a job deemed by the Government as a key worker. I told the security guard to leave me and my daughter alone as she was obviously upset getting agitated and they continued to go on threatening with the police which I thought was well over the top. I told them politely that we got the message and to leave us alone. However after paying this continued with 5 of them now on our backs even though I'd pulled my mask up several times. This goes back to an earlier incident where I had the same child with me and I'd not got a ticked on entering as in under store car park several vehicle enthusiasts were driving rather erratically around it as though it was a race track. Naturally being a protective father paying for a ticket would not get in the way of the safety of my daughter and I took her into the store first. On leaving the store to pay for the ticket I was greeted by a car parking charge I'd not been gone longer than 10 minutes. I had a dealing with one specific security guard and this turned out to be one of the five I was accosted by today. These jobsworths are bullies and I will not stand for it. This one specific security guard obviously enjoys being a bully.

Have to pay a pound to park which is abit annoying when I hardly carry change on me these days but you do get your car parking taken off your shop. Well priced good quality food plenty of offers that rotate week on week.
Loads of customers not wearing masks in the store and \security\ doing nothing about it. Not a safe place to shop at the moment.
Good clean store nice cafe except the prices in the cafe are more expensive than in other asda stores but overall a nice place for your weekly shop and it's open 24 hours
Always clean and tidy with very polite, friendly and helpful staff.howerit could do with having a greater selection on some items ie tinned mushrooms the store used to stock a number of different makes it now only stocks one.
