This use to be the best Indian in Telford sadly not the case anymore. Last night was really the final straw, I placed an order for pick up at 7.45 finally getting my order at 9.15. I know it was new years eve but it was complete chaos with people waiting well over 2 hours. What made it worse was that part of my order was still missing and some of the dishes had obviously been stood around and were pretty much cold. This is not the first time I my order has been wrong recently even thought they repeat the order when handing it over. Quality is still good but not as good as it once was, I have been going here since 1998 but I doubt I will again

Really disappointed, ordered for tonight (new years eve) chose my safety meal of chicken tikka masala, literally every piece of chicken was inedible and completely full of gristle.. only saving grace was we'd ordered the tandoori special so took some pieces out of that. I understand they are extremely busy and working hard but workes out a very expensive meal

Ordered our food yesterday for 7.30 new years eve, and it still hasn't arrived (9pm)! very disappointing. We have tried to chase over 300 times but the phones are clearly off the hook!!!! Loyal customers all year round and let down on a night that is important to us. We will look for a new Indian food provider now.

Royal balti always has wonderful food that's why it has been our go to takeaway for years! We usually have no issues with them. However, on Christmas eve my family and I ordered there to pick up and take home, we ordered at 5.30 to make sure that we could eat for around 7 and they told us to pick it up at 7:15 because they were so busy. I didn't leave with our food until after 8pm. If we hadn't ordered nearly 3 hours earlier then I wouldn't have minded, or if they told us to come at 8 instead of 7:15, that would have been fine too. But to leave me waiting in the cold on Christmas eve where I could have been spending time with my family after a rubbish year, I wasn't impressed. I understand that they were really really busy, however their prioritisation was really lacking.

Been visiting this establishment for 20 years for Indian Cuisine, and compared with the other options within Telford Wellington area, I can't find anywhere better than this, hence the revisits! Cuisine is actually heavily based on Bangladeshi Origins. Takeaway Review: There are 2 basic options for this: 1) Place an order by Phone and Collect 2) Place an order for Free Home Delivery within 4 Miles Discounts: 10% on all orders over 18.95 with Collection Free Naan on Delivery with orders over 20.50 All takeaways come with Raw Onion Salad On collection of food you will be offer a alcoholic or non-alcholic beverage if you have to wait. Restaurant Review: Restaurant has only been established for 8 years, but is well decorated with typical Indian decoration. Food is of the quality of the takeaway with a slight markup in prices for the service. Staff are really pleasant and will deal with any questions about the food or particular dietary requirements. We've actually had a friend have her fat dietary requirements met by this restaurant! My Recommendations: Tandoori Chicken Bhuna Massala Chicken Korai House Special Biryani Chicken Hadribadi Chicken Korma Hygiene Rating of 5 Stars and plenty of recent food awards for the Midlands (2015 onwards).
