This place started as a food truck, but now has a permanent home in the new dining area at Eastridge in Orakei/Mission Bay, The Eatery. The tastes are amazing. I tried a temaki which is a hand-rolled cone-shaped sushi wrap. I picked king prawns and the flavours were amazing. We shared some pork and prawn dumplings which were so flavourful and packed full of both meats. The service was very personable and dealt well with our older dining companion who wanted “something with not much rice”. The owner crafted a lovely and tasty sushimi salad which our dining companion declared very good. My only quibble is that the lights over the dining area are way too bright, but that’s a minor quibble and we’ll definitely be back.

Excellent food, great service and lovely people. This is far and away some of the best #Japanese and #Korean influenced food in Auckland, and the only place specialising in #Temaki. Their fried chicken is amazing! And so is everything else. Definitely check it out.
We’ve been following the truck around for a while, and have never been let down with the level of not only service, but quality of food. Always super fresh and yummy! So happy we can now have Temaki on the regular! Congrats Rodrigo, keep killin’ it!! X
This place is a little gem. Beautiful food and amazing service. You can tell everything is made with love, not only the temakis are delicious, but everything else in the menu we’ve tried so far!

Love the temaki truck, it's consistently fresh, delicious and friendly. I highly recommend checking out their restaurant 'Temakeria' at Eastridge Eatery. We have eaten there close to 10 times since opening and almost tried the whole menu! I recommend the king prawn and spicy salmon temakis and the 'sea taco'. The service is very quick and always friendly.
