I have only been to Emerge once but comparing it to the other yoga studios I have been to this well not be my only visit by any means. The staff at Emerge makes you feel very comfortable no matter if you are a beginner or advanced yogi. Renee's class is by far the most Zen yoga class I have been to. Prices are reasonable and first class is FREE!. Great instructor, Great Space, Great Energy. I would recommend.

What a loving and beautiful place to practice. The space where the classes are held is absolutely beautiful and very clean! I have been to most of their classes at this point and I have not found an instructor I did not LOVE! All very sweet, easy to get along with and make you feel very comfortable even when you may just be starting out like me. I felt very accepted and comfortable which is very important to me. I suggest this location for everyone. They have beginning and intermediate classes so its a great place for anyone. The first class is free which is great, after that single classes are still inexpensive at 10 each and they even have very very reasonable prices for their monthly unlimited memberships. You much come check it out. First class is free. What do you have to lose?

I have taken many different types of yoga classes, and consider myself physically active in many different forms of exercise. When I first learned of the "restorative yoga" class at Emerge Community Center, I was not sure exactly what to expect. I typically go for more fast-paced classes that generate a lot of physical exertion. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I took Renee's class. This was, indeed, a different type of yoga that I was not used to. That being said, I can truly say I will always incorporate this type of class into my gym routine. The slow-pace, and deep stretching was very therapeutic. I felt that I was able to really concentrate on each pose, while perfecting them at the same time. All of the benefits of this class are still to be determined, but I can honestly say I walk out feeling centered, relaxed, flexible, and grounded. Renee is truly gifted at what she does, and if you have the opportunity to check her class out, I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Let me start off by saying that I'm not a pro at yoga! I've been practicing yoga on & off for about a year or so. With a high paced & non-stop lifestyle I have, many of my friends have recommended I try yoga -- I needed a balance in my life, somewhere I could take my mind off of my daily thoughts & escape to a calm and peaceful place. I've taken numerous yoga classes at Emerge Community Center & Renee's classes are AMAZING!! First of all, you don't have to be a yogi-pro to take her classes. She makes every person feel comfortable & also takes the time to personally correct any yoga pose, making sure that you are doing the poses correctly. I've never had a better experience anywhere else. I leave her yoga classes feeling calm and rejuvenated -- that "yoga-high" that everyone refers to! Renee also offers packages for her yoga classes & you can mix and match them for any type of class! I will forever recommend Renee's yoga classes! A wonderful authentic space to practice in. The vision of this community center is both genuine and generous. Each instructor demonstrates a great heart and true concern for each students particular needs. The classes tailor to all spectrums of personal growth. Whether it be physical, mental, spiritual or beyond, each welcomed and provided with the space to leave one fulfilled. Thank you!!

I am new to yoga. I first tried it following a tragic auto accident that resulted in the loss of my husband and severe injuries myself. The Restorative Yoga with Renee has been beneficial both emotionally and physically, especially as an outlet for my grief. I find it to be very healing in a comfortable, loving, non-competitive & non-judgmental environment. The studio is a restful and clean respite from the daily grind. I also plan to try the community acupuncture! Thank you Emerge for your vision & passion : )
