Organized religion is one activity that I shy away from. And then there is the fear of being publicly observed under a group microscope. TBJ is fortunate to be led by Rabbi \Robin\, a woman of supreme empathy for sentient beings. Just in one service, she spoke about intolerance. Indifference to hate crimes by the clergy is a cancellation of religion. Rabbi Robin spoke about the Orlando shooting in eloquent fashion. Regardless of whom we love or we choose to love, who has the right to punish was the theme of her sermon. Yamaka's off for the Rabbi.
