I so glad to have found this gem. This Greek restaurant is not only stunning, it offers delicious food that is NYC grade. Cannot wait to go back. The octopus appetizer and shrimp and mussels dish were excellent.

Fancy Expensive Quality food This is a fancy restaurant in the neighborhood, as I noticed all customers were nicely dressed. But the restaurant doesn’t have any dress code, as I was able to dine in shorts and flip-flops. Due to Covid they do outdoor seating only, but they have plenty of tents (seating) available. We were able to sit in right away on Sunday evening dinner. I liked their food a lot, the octopus was delicious, lamb chops were tender and the prawns were grilled to perfection. Their sides are mostly vegetables. I did find their service slower than usual, which is good in a way, if you want to have chilled relaxing dinner.

Service was excellent! Staff was friendly and attentive. Tables were social distant both inside and outside. Went to celebrate an anniversary and was treated like family! Will definitely return to celebrate many more! I reccommend the salmon with spinach rice- delicious!

This place has a beautiful ambiance - live music, ample space, comfortable seating and great waiters. The food was next level - cooked to perfection and authentic Greek flavors. The wine selection is very good and our waiter gave ideal recommendations. The upstairs is perfect for hosting larger events as well!! We will be back for sure

The food was relatively good, I ordered a filet mignon which was cooked properly and was a quality piece of meat. We had a round of drinks, in my case a sangria which was extremely strong - which is actually had to find at most restaurants. However, I found the waiter pretty unremarkable. He was constantly focusing on the table next to us since they were ordering expensive wines. Whenever we wanted to order it took 15 minutes to track him down and when we did he had a bit of an attitude. Overall, while others have found Axia to be this fancy local restaurant - I found it to be quite average to be honest. The food selection could be better for a greek restaurant and on top of that you are paying a heavy premium for the name recognition of the restaurant. Any casual diner would be better suited for greek to me.
