This was an excellent experience as in the past, I had great success with this law firm when my prior landlord broke into my house changed my locks because I did not accept her sexual advances. Mr. Pensacke is like a professor has a well verse knowledge of the laws and is compassionate with integrity. Anyone reading this with landlord issues make this your first stop.

I hired Illinois tenants rights union to help prevent and eviction with a known slumlord in Chicago, My Attorney who represented me was Gerard Otoole. At my Pre trial he didn’t advocate for me at all ..he forced me to agree with the management company’s lawyer, he gave me no help at all ! I am beyond disgusted and I hope for the near future No One Uses their services!! The actually work against you...

Personally, best tenant representation. I had unfortunate circumstanc last fall which cause my anxiety levels to go up. Went to this great organization and my anxieties were met with calm and understanding. I am glad I choose them. I would personally recommend them.

The guy who contacts you is a moron. Told me the best way to clear my eviction was by paying in full. I already knew that, jackass. It’s not like I’m trying to live rent free. He also told me something my landlord was doing wasn’t illegal when literally every lawyer and law on the books say otherwise. There’s also this little thing where they claim to be a “tenants union” that’s fighting for your rights, but they refuse to help anyone on public housing or anyone accepting rental assistance. Go figure. Looks like they’re just in for the money. Steer clear of places like this.
