Expensive compared to the local Sainsburys car park but if you get there by 9am there are plenty of spaces available. Travelling down in an EV there were 4 Pod Point chargers there, all were free when we got there at 9am. All of the EV spaces were taken by around 10:15am and if one of the spaces has nene ICED then it might be the attendant in the office, so you can ask him to move it. The only issue we had was that being on O2 and EE networks on our phones, the signal in the area to turn start the charge through the Pod Point app was extremely difficult and we had to walk to the Esplanade overlooking the beach before we had a decent signal to \Claim Charge\. Charging is 7kW at 25p/kW so we had charged our car in around 4 hours. There are 2 coin operated ticket machines and 1 that accepts credit cards where you have to input your number plate. 2 hours is 3, 10 hours is 7 and 24 hours is 9. Overnight between 6pm and 8am is 3.
Bit expensive but good access to all areas!
Only one machine which is credit card. So slow.
