Amazing views. Friendly family run business, lovely dairy.
As well as being a dairy farm, it also has holiday cottages of which we are staying in for the week! The very welcoming farmer gave us a tour of the farm and showed us all the processes entailed in dairy farming and the production of their own line of very tasty ice cream! We followed the cows from the field upto the barns where again all was explained re pre-cleaning the cows before the milk is extracted and very kindly showed us their ice cream business and we got a free sample too! (I've tried 3 flavours they make now and they are amazing!) Afterwards a tour round all the machinery that is required to run a farm as big as this and for a machine geek like me who has played farming simulator (Don't judge me) it was a proper treat! As mentioned earlier they do sell their own ice cream using their own ice cream van!
