Very friendly staff and I think one of the better pizza's I've had before. Desert is good but after the pizza difficult to compare.

After 10 years of living in Teramo, we are amazed not to have heard about this place before. Tucked away in a cobbled back street a short walk from the main corso, is this absolute gem of a find. We took a risk and ordered some very special and typical dishes, which these days are pretty much confined to being found in home cooked meals, following old recipes. Any previous attempts to find a restaurant to re-produce such delicacies as \mazzarelle\,, avioli dolci\, \timballo\ and the car crash that has become \pizza dogge\, is often met with disappointment and the feeling that something had been lost along the way. Well, to utter amazement and delight, La Cressidra not only achieved the goal of satisfying my very pernickety fellow Teramane diners, but in fact exceeded anything they had ever tasted outside of their own nonna's kitchen! That is one heck of a compliment. It was very clear that Italo and his family take enormous pride in the traditional dishes freshly prepared daily here and we struck lucky to find that both mazzarelle and the sweet ravioli had been made that morning, ready for the evening service. Timballo is only available by pre order or again if you are lucky enough to go on a day it has been freshly prepared. For anyone looking to find real Teramane dishes, you need look no further. (Pizza looked great too!)
