This is without a doubt the best overall course in Texas. I will admit there are courses that have better conditions, but this course is also in great shape. The thing that puts it above everything else are the amazing views on EVERY hole. Quite simply, it's bucket list of you're in Texas.

Beautiful golf course situated next to the US-Mexico border. Tons of elevation and winding roads make it a very fun and challenging day of play. The views for the Black and Maroon tee box are breathtaking, as with the whole entire course. Black Jack’s Crossing surely lives up to its name for the #1 golf course in Texas.

Really amazing terrain for a golf course. Conditions of the fairways and greens were excellent; some of the rough and cart path areas not so much. I felt that the design relied too much on tee shots and green undulations; there were almost no quality approach shots. That being said, I enjoyed the round very much and anyone looking for a unique experience should play here.

Great golf course! Beautiful view on every hole. Course is in great shape. Staff was excellent. Fairways are very wide so you don't have to be a great golfer to enjoy this course.

Golf course is amazing but the resort leaves some to be desired. The course does not have an afternoon rate or a 9 hole rate. The bars and food close early and there is nothing to do after about 9pm. The golf shop is small and out of most things and needs to be re-stocked. The staff at the front desk isn’t great, a tall skinny guy who seemed like he was stoned.

Superb golf course! The natural scenery is amazing and the course is very well maintained.

The Pro Shop gave us 2 golf carts as requested but then the golf pro came and took one back and he couldn’t have cared less. Moral of the story: think twice before driving 10 hours and renting a house at the resort if you think your wives can ride with you (as advertised) and take in the scenery.
