Il Paleolab è un piccolo museo a scopo didattico nel quale sono esposte ammoniti e fossili di animali: antilopi, rinoceronti, iene, felini dai denti a sciabola, cervi, cinghiali, zebre e mammut. I fossili del piccolo cervo sono particolarmente completi. Il museo viene aperto il sabato pomeriggio dalle 16 alle 19 e l’ingresso è libero. E’ un bel posto dove portare i bambini per far comprendere la deriva dei continenti, i vulcani, l’evoluzione umana e la vita di animali che popolavano l’Umbria 300mila anni fa.
