This season I ordered a few mature peony clumps from this farm after seeing a positive review in one of the peony enthusiast groups I am a member of. I gotta give it 5 ️ and thumbs up all the way!! First of all, there are not a lot of growers that offer mature peony clumps with more than 3-5 eyes, so this was a lucky find for an impatient newbie gardener like myself. Secondly, the delivery was quick with timely notifications on shipping progress. The roots were packaged nicely in a generous amount of wood chips medium to keep the moisture in, though it looks like a few roots did chip away during transportation (but kinda expected with the UPS handling, not the farm’s fault). The plant quality is superb, roots are thick and healthy with a good amount of healthy, big eyes on it. One of the roots had only 12 eyes, even though they advertize 15-20 on average, but the others had 16 and 17 accordingly so I guess overall that kind of averaged out anyway. It is too early to say how they will adapt to my garden and bloom next spring, as they typically take a while to establish but I could not have wished for better, healthier roots! I am also located in NC, so I was very excited to find a local high quality farm and hope that the plants transplanting shock will be less than for some roots I ordered from Holland given similarity in climate given the same zone. Fingers crossed!

The ranunculus bulbs I ordered were so big and robust. They were by far the best quality I have ever ordered!
Glenda was very helpful and especially cheerful. She persuaded us to leave with more plants than we had intended. Thank you.
A great, family-run business. Lots of selection. A nice showroom to visit in season. Closed Sundays but usually a good idea to call if you are going to visit on a Saturday morning!
My wife and I visited the farm flower store. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Selection and quality were outstanding. We did learn that in the warmer climate tulips have to be dug up and stored in a cool place or else they will not survive.
