After a little hicup to get a clients fleet truck in for a daignostic service Sammy in service came to the rescue. She had the truck picked up at the airport, in, fixed and back out to the airport for when our client arrives in only 2 days. Can't thank her enough for the assistance and timely turn around. Great job by her and the service team at MacCarthy GM!

I bought my truck from them in Sept 2020. The last 2 months I have had the check engine light go off 4 times. I live and work out of town and use my truck for my business so it is hard for me to get appointments. When I do, it is in all day at the dealership however the truck doesnt actually go for servicing till afternoon and they dont have courtesy vehicles so you have to be shuttled around town. My truck was finished the 1st time around 4pm. I has been waiting since 9:00 am in the lounge area. The girl at servicing desk didnt even bother to look for me. It sat for 1/2 hr before I realized it was ready and went to find her, she was busy texting on her phone and hadnt bothered to even call me. These all dayers affect my work. They definitely dont prioritize customers after they cant fix the problem 4 times. Disappointed for sure.

Horrible service! Came in to diagnose a noise from my transfer case. I had my oem wheels and tires on except for 1 stock spare that came with the truck They told me all tires have to be the EXACT same size or it could cause a noise in the transfer case. ("even 2 millimeters can through it out of wack")! They checked the transfer case fluid and charged me over 100 for diagnostics, Told me to put the matching tire on and come back.... asked the girl if the diagnostic fee would be debited back to my account if it was covered under warranty. She tried to tell me the transfer case is not covered under power train warranty!!!! Save yourself the rip-off. Theres a 3rd party mechanic shop in kitimat that has been way nicer and way cheaper to deal with, PLUS THEY DO WARRANTY WORK!!!!

I was in Terrace working last summer and I had a water leak issue on my 2016 GMC 3500 Denali. It went into the shop 5 different times for 1 seal in the sunroof.The head liner got stained and had water damage on it. I had to bring it back numerous times to rectify the staining. They said they would order me a new liner. I left to go back home in dec and still no liner. I called after months of waiting and they said it was ordered and it would be shipped to my local dealer. I waited another couple of months and phoned back. They then told me that the liner was not covered and it wouldn’t be ordered. Every time I wash my truck or it rains there’s always more water that enters the cab. The very fist time it was in the shop it was there for over a week. Every time it was left for the staining I lost it for a day. All in all I lost it for close to two weeks and the water continues to this day! This is a minor issue, I’d hate to see how a major issue is handled!
