To fully enjoy this stretch of the 25 km Roman aquaduct, you do need a lamp. It is very exciting to enter the tunnel. It has been excavated at a comfortable hight, so it is fairly easy to walk through the tunnel. You can clearly see the marks on the walls, that were left behind the tools. Imagine the engineering and planning that was necessary for this aquaduct, thousands of years ago. Amazing right?
