We used Heliexpert to capture the canopy of Silk Wood at Westonbirt, the National Arboretum. Chalara ash dieback is a disease that is effecting ash trees across the world. We have been monitoring the disease for a few years and we have reached the sad stage where our native ash trees have to be clear felled. This is a huge task which will alter the way Silk Wood will look forever. We asked Heliexpert to help capture before footage so we have a historical record of how the landscape looked. Mike has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Prompt communication, reliable and knowledgeable. He took a great interest in our plans and took the time to really understand what a huge transformation this will be for us and in doing so made sure he captured everything to perfection.
